Guernsey's competition law is founded on the Competition (Enabling Provisions) Law of 2009, Competition Ordinance of 2012 and the Authority Ordinance of 2012.
Hong Kong’s Competition Ordinance (Cap. 619) was enacted in 2012. HKCC, an independent body formed in 2013, enforces it and is led by a Chairperson and Commissioners.
Indonesia’s Competition Law was enacted in March 1999. The Competition Commission, formed in 2000, is an independent body with Commissioners appointed by the President.
Ireland’s Competition Act was enacted in 2002 and amended in 2014. The CCPC, formed in 2014, is an independent body led by a Chairperson and Commissioners.
Kosovo’s Competition Law was enacted in June 2022. The KCA, formed in 2010, is an independent body led by a five-member Commission, including a President and VP.
Kyrgyzstan’s Competition Law was enacted in July 2011. NAAPDC, formed in 2005, operates under the Economy Ministry and is led by a Chairman appointed by the Cabinet.
Malaysia’s Competition Act was enacted in 2010 and took effect in 2012. MyCC, formed in 2011, is an independent body led by a Chairman and Minister-appointed members.
