The competition regime in Georgia is founded primarily on the Law of Georgia on Competition, enacted in April, 2012, and the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumers Rights, enacted in March, 2022. The Georgian National Competition Agency was established by the Law of Georgia on Competition, and started its operations in 2014. The country's competing agency is governed by its Board, a collegiate body composed of five members.
