Kyrgyzstan’s Competition Law was enacted in July 2011. NAAPDC, formed in 2005, operates under the Economy Ministry and is led by a Chairman appointed by the Cabinet.

Malaysia’s Competition Act was enacted in 2010 and took effect in 2012. MyCC, formed in 2011, is an independent body led by a Chairman and Minister-appointed members.

Mexico's Competition Regime is composed primarily by Article 28 of the Mexican Constitution and Federal Law of Economic Competition (LFCE).

The Competition Law of Mongolia was enacted in 2010. The AFCCP, formed in 2008, is an independent agency led by a Chairperson and members from various sectors.

New Zealand

The Commerce Act of New Zealand was enacted in 1986. The Commerce Commission, an independent Crown entity, is led by a Chairperson and Commissioners appointed by the Governor-General.

Nicaragua

The competition regime in Nicaragua is based on the Law on the Promotion of Competition (Law No. 601) enacted in 2006.
