Mexico Competition Regime is composed primarily by Article 28 of the Mexican Constitution and Federal Law of Economic Competition (LFCE), published in the Official Journal of the Federation on May 23, 2014. The country has a collegiate agency tasked with an exclusive mandate on competition headed by a board of 9 directors. The authority is called the Federal Commission of Economic Competition (COFECE) and started to work in 2013.
