Mongolia

The Law on Competition of Mongolia was enacted in June 2010. The Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection (AFCCP) was established in 2008. The AMA operates as an independent government agency. It is led by a Chairperson, appointed based on expertise in economics or law, and includes members nominated by various sectors, such as the Chamber of Commerce and Trade, Trade Unions, and Consumer Rights NGOs.
