Salvador competition Regime is contained in Decree No. 528 enacted on December 22, 2004, and last amended in 2021. The country has one authority with a general mandate to enforce competition called “la Superintendencia de Competencia.” It is a collegiate body headed by three directors and started functioning in 2006.
