Aljohrh Al Abdulsalam

Aljohrh Al Abdulsalam, an SJD candidate at the George Washington University Law School, is currently conducting dissertation research focusing on the development of competition policy in Saudi Arabia under the supervision of Professor William Kovacic. The dissertation evaluates the present and future advancements of Saudi competition policy within the framework of competition policy rules and the Saudi Vision 2030, exploring the intersections of competition policy and economic development.
Prior to commencing her SJD, Aljohrh obtained an LLM in Business and Finance from GW Law in 2021, and an additional LLM in Commercial Law from Dar Al Uloom University in Saudi Arabia in 2016. She is a licensed attorney recognized by the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia since 2019. Aljohrh has recently published articles in the International Enforcement Law Reporter, emphasizing international business law matters, particularly regulatory and enforcement aspects.
