The GW Competition Law Center launched the Antitrust Discussion Group on February 20, 2025, with its inaugural meeting bringing together LL.M. and J.D. students for an engaging and collaborative discussion on contemporary antitrust challenges.
Led by Professor William Kovacic and Dr. Liat Davis, the group provides a platform for students to explore key issues in competition law and policy. The first session encouraged students to share their individual areas of interest, helping shape future discussions on topics such as enforcement trends, digital markets, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
The initiative is designed not only to deepen students’ academic engagement but also to foster professional dialogue on real-world antitrust issues. By creating a space for ongoing collaboration, the Antitrust Discussion Group supports GW Law’s commitment to developing the next generation of competition law experts.
The group will continue to meet throughout the semester, with upcoming sessions focusing on timely developments in both U.S. and global competition policy.
